RestorixHealth is seeking a Front Desk Medical Coordinator to schedule wound care visits and manage patient check-ins using our EMR system. The role requires verifying registrations, insurance details, and obtaining preauthorizations for procedures, while maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in front desk role in a hospital outpatient or medical practice setting preferred.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Exceptional customer service skills, able to promote a positive environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, per HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule HBO Therapy or wound care visits using hospital software and EMR system.
• Book appointments based on time, staffing, equipment and supplies.
• Verify patient registration information with the patient or responsible party.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain preauthorization for wound care procedures.
