Job summary

Quality Home Care: Michigan Private Duty Aides is seeking a wound care field educator to travel between partner facilities, building strong relationships with nursing leadership and staff. You will deliver education on wound prevention, staging, and best practices while identifying cost-effective, covered product alternatives.

You bring hands-on wound care experience and a solid grasp of Medicare coverage. Travel across your assigned region is required, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Hands-on wound care experience with knowledge of wound staging and prevention.
• Understanding Medicare coverage policy for wound care supplies.
• Excellent verbal communication and adaptability to diverse audiences.
• Empathy and a relationship-first approach with facility staff.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the region.
• A valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Travel within assigned territory to partner facilities and build relationships with DONs and clinical leaders.
• Review wound care products used at sites and identify clinically appropriate, covered alternatives.
• Provide in-service education on wound prevention, staging, and best practices.
• Stay current on Medicare policy related to wound care products and coverage.
• Represent the company as a knowledgeable clinical partner at every facility visit.
