Job summary

Quality Home Care Michigan is seeking a field educator to serve as a trusted clinical resource across partner facilities. The role involves visiting sites, delivering hands-on education on wound prevention and skin/wound staging, and guiding teams to Medicare-covered products for residents.

You will build relationships with Directors of Nursing and clinical leadership, travel extensively within your region, and stay current on Medicare policy related to wound care products.

Qualifications

• Hands-on wound care experience and knowledge of wound staging, prevention, and product categories.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse audiences.
• Empathy and relationship-first approach with facility staff.

Responsibilities

• Travel within assigned territory to visit partner facilities and build relationships with DONs and clinical leadership.
• Deliver in-service education on wound prevention, skin/wound staging, and best practices.
• Educate staff on Medicare-covered alternatives and cost-conscious care decisions.
• Maintain current knowledge of Medicare policy related to wound care products and DME.
• Represent the company as a knowledgeable clinical partner at each facility visited.
