North Point Church in Minnesota seeks a Worship Leader to guide Sunday worship, lead weekly rehearsals, and collaborate with the Lead Pastor on song selection and service flow. The role emphasizes warmth, authenticity, and accessibility for both believers and guests.
Ideal candidates are emerging leaders with strong musical ability who enjoy teamwork, planning, and growing a ministry. Compensation is $20/hour, with up to 40 paid hours per month, on-site in Minnesota.
North Point is a growing church with a mission to make disciples who make disciples. We want people to feel welcomed and wanted, whether they have followed Jesus for years or are just beginning to explore faith.
Our worship is joyful, expectant, authentic, and centered on helping people respond to who God is and what He has done through Jesus. We value musical excellence, but our goal is more than a polished performance. Success means people are participating and moving toward God.
We’re looking for a spiritually grounded and musically capable Worship Leader to lead our Sunday worship and help our volunteers succeed.
This person will contribute to North Point’s growth by creating worship experiences that are warm, engaging, well prepared, and accessible to both committed believers and spiritually curious guests.
This is an entry-level ministry opportunity. Previous church employment, formal ministry education, and several years of worship-leading experience are not required. We’re open to an emerging leader with strong musical ability, good character, positive energy, and a desire to grow.
Experience with Planning Center, ProPresenter, multitracks, volunteer musicians, or modern congregational worship is helpful but not required.
The role is intentionally focused on Sunday worship, weekly rehearsal, service planning, and essential preparation. Primary oversight of production, livestreaming, equipment, extensive administration, and most church events is handled separately.
You’ll serve alongside a supportive staff and committed volunteers who genuinely enjoy serving together. We value honest communication, humility, Joy, encouragement, creativity, preparation, and helping one another succeed.
You won’t be expected to build the worship ministry alone. North Point is small enough for your leadership to make a visible difference and growing enough for you to help shape where we go next.
