Job summary

Epworth First Baptist Church in North Georgia is seeking a Full-Time Worship & Discipleship Pastor to lead worship ministries and help guests and members grow in their faith.

The pastor will guide discipleship, community connections, and service within the life of the church, and collaborate with volunteers and staff to foster spiritual growth and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ.
• Agreement with Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
• Ability to lead vocally and musically.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Experience in worship ministry or discipleship leadership preferred.
• Bible college or seminary training preferred.
• Current ordination or future ordination preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with volunteers, staff, and church leadership.
• Commitment to seek continual personal spiritual growth and leadership development.

Epworth First Baptist Church is a thriving church in North Georgia seeking a passionate, Christ-centered leader to serve as our Full-Time Worship & Discipleship Pastor. This individual will primarily provide leadership in worship ministries while also helping guests and current members take meaningful next steps in: discipleship, connection in biblical community, and service within the life of the church.

• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and a growing personal relationship with Him.
• Agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 and the vision of Epworth First Baptist Church.
• Ability to lead vocally and musically in a blended worship setting.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Experience in worship ministry and/or discipleship leadership preferred.
• Bible college or seminary training preferred.
• Current ordination or future ordination preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with volunteers, staff, and church leadership.
• Commitment to seek continual personal spiritual growth and leadership development.

Compensation
