Qualifications

• Some biblical training in Bible college or seminary and adherence to Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
• Willing to submit to a criminal background check.

Worship Leader/Associate Pastor

Westview Baptist Church in Hawkinsville GA, church is seeking a mature man to fill

the full-time position of Worship Leader/Associate Pastor. This individual should

have a strong music background, a deep passion for worship of God, the confident

ability to lead others, and a desire for Christ to be exalted through hymns, praise

and contemporary music leading our congregational worship.

The candidate should be proficient in playing an instrument (piano or guitar) and

leading vocalists. Have a good knowledge and experience working with audio-

visual, sound, multi-track and tech devices.

He must be able to fill the pulpit in the absence of the pastor and serve the church

in areas needed. He must be assured of God’s call and be qualified as an elder as

described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9. He must be willing to serve along-

side the pastor, church leadership and congregation to fulfill the purpose and goals

of Jesus Christ in His church.

He should have some biblical training in Bible college or seminary and adhere to

the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Possess a strong work ethic and be Christ

motivated. He must be willing to submit to a criminal background check.
