Job summary

Winder First Baptist in Georgia seeks a Worship Director to lead weekend worship, build teams, train volunteers, and craft Sunday experiences where the congregation encounters God through song and the Word. You will collaborate with a sound engineer to recruit, train, and run AV/Lighting for each service.

The role requires proactive leadership, planning, and a growing personal walk with Jesus, with responsibilities spanning worship planning, team development, and tech stewardship.

Qualifications

• Must lead weekend worship and develop others to lead alongside you.
• Experience recruiting, training, and shepherding volunteers for worship/tech teams.
• Ability to plan services with the Senior Pastor and select biblically sound, congregational songs.

Responsibilities

• Lead worship at all weekend services with proficiency on guitar/keyboard.
• Recruit, train, and shepherd worship and tech volunteers.
• Plan services with the Senior Pastor; ensure lyrics and visuals are accurate and biblically sound.
• Oversee technical and operational aspects of worship including sound, lighting, and livestream.
