Job summary

Epworth First Baptist Church in North Georgia is seeking a full-time Worship & Discipleship Pastor. This leader will guide worship ministries while also guiding guests and members in discipleship, biblically-based community, and service within the life of the church.

The ideal candidate will lead both modern praise teams and choir in a blended environment, with a heart for pastoral ministry and ongoing spiritual growth.

Qualifications

• Clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and growing relationship.
• Agree with Baptist Faith & Message 2000 and Epworth First Baptist Church vision.
• Ability to lead vocally and musically in blended worship.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Experience in worship ministry and/or discipleship leadership preferred.
• Bible college or seminary training preferred.
• Current ordination or future ordination preferred.
• Ability to work with volunteers, staff, and church leadership.
• Commitment to continual personal spiritual growth and leadership development.

This individual will primarily provide leadership in worship ministries while also helping guests and current members take meaningful next steps in: discipleship, connection in biblical community, and service within the life of the church.

The ideal candidate will possess: the ability to lead both modern praise teams and choir ministries in a blended worship environment, a heart for pastoral ministry, and a commitment to biblical discipleship.

Qualifications

• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and a growing personal relationship with Him.
• Agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 and the vision of Epworth First Baptist Church.
• Ability to lead vocally and musically in a blended worship setting.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Experience in worship ministry and/or discipleship leadership preferred.
• Bible college or seminary training preferred.
• Current ordination or future ordination preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with volunteers, staff, and church leadership.
