Job summary

Washington Alliance Church in Washington state is seeking a Worship Director to join our ministry leadership. This full-time role oversees music and media elements of worship, collaborates with the Lead Pastor, and helps develop teams to lead the congregation in sincere worship of Jesus.

You will lead worship services, guide volunteers, coordinate technical ministries (sound, video, lighting, ProPresenter, Planning Center), and partner with Children and Student Ministries to grow future worship

Qualifications

• Clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and growing relationship.
• Experience leading a band and worship teams.
• Musical proficiency and vocal skills.
• Personable with good rapport in the congregation.
• Committed to developing leaders.
• Teachable spirit and willingness to learn.
• Heart for reaching lost people.
• Active involvement in ministry.

Responsibilities

• Develop worship services to help people encounter God.
• Lead music and media teams to grow in relationship with God.
• Model passionate worship that invites participation.
• Create and communicate worship vision and culture.
• Select songs aligning with the worship vision.
• Lead and shepherd worship teams, mentoring volunteers.
• Utilize a mix of new, current, and traditional songs.
