Job summary

Memorial Park Church seeks a Director of Worship to provide vision and leadership for worship, musicians, and events. You will guide teams, plan services, and ensure engaging, biblically rooted worship across generations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the pastoral staff, developing a Holy Spirit-led atmosphere, and preparing worship in a newly restored sanctuary while maintaining excellence in both traditional and contemporary expressions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent ministry experience.
• Passion for engaging musicians inside and outside the church.
• Ability to integrate diverse musical talents into worship.
• Collaborative with pastoral staff to foster Holy Spirit-led worship.
• Experience as a worship leader in a church or ministry setting.
• Strong background in traditional and contemporary worship.
• Experience developing worship in a new Sanctuary environment.
• Comfort with modern technology to enhance worship.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead weekly worship services and events.
• Engage and lead worship teams and volunteers.
• Recruit, train, and schedule musicians and leaders.
• Oversee worship ministry budget and resources.
• Collaborate with pastoral and ministry teams for cross-ministry worship.
• Develop Sanctuary worship in the new space.
