Job summary

All Souls Presbyterian Church in Northville/Novi seeks a Director of Music and Creative Arts to shape worship that is musically excellent, simple, and inviting for longtime believers and first-time visitors.

You will lead weekly Sunday music, oversee volunteers, and coordinate branding and content with the Planting Pastor. You’ll build a lean AVL team and plan seasonal moments within a church-plant budget.

Qualifications

• Prior worship-leading experience in church-plant or small-team settings.
• Working knowledge of Planning Center Services and ProPresenter; familiar with AV operations.
• Formal degree training is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sunday Worship Leadership: lead music weekly; coordinate service logistics.
• Volunteer Culture Building: recruit and train musicians and creative volunteers; sustainable rotation.
• Creative Content & Branding: oversee visual footprint and brand voice; partner on content.
• Production Logistics: build a simple AVL team; manage gear within budget; submit yearly plans.
