Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks Medical Technologist/MLT/Lab Technician at Lodi Community Hospital to perform and interpret tests across complexity levels. You will uphold regulatory standards, maintain quality control, and document results for patient care.

This role supports education of students and staff and operates within a leading healthcare system. Eligibility includes CLIA high complexity qualifications; bachelor’s degree in a related lab science is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
Meets the CLIA qualifications for high complexity testing personnel grandfathering clause.
Diploma and/or transcripts must be provided.
Education outside the United States requires translation and foreign equivalency evaluation.

Responsibilities

Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, and record-keeping.
Maintain regulatory knowledge as it pertains to duties.
Adhere to quality control policies and document calibrations and maintenance.
Maintain instrument and documentation practices and ensure problem notification when issues arise.
May train students and staff on theory, skills, and safety protocols.
