Job summary

The Bistro Service Bartender will greet guests in the Bistro dining areas and provide world class beverage and food service for the duration of their visit. Duties will include: preparing beverages; processing orders; engaging guests; and coordinating service for assigned area(s).

Bartenders will deliver gracious hospitality and ensure all guests receive friendly, courteous and prompt service at all times following proscribed and established Biltmore service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months experience bartending.
• Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages in a friendly, efficient manner according to standards.
• Keep bar and public areas neat, clean, and free of debris at all times.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Resolve guest complaints/issues to standards, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Make sure area(s) are properly stocked, prepped, and set.
• Opening/closing duties/responsibilities as assigned.
• Create alcoholic beverages in a timely manner following approved recipes.
• Create espresso beverages in a timely manner, utilizing equipment properly.
• Cleaning and organizing back stock areas.
• Changing half barrel kegs, lifting cases of wine and beer, and other physical tasks.
