Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking a manufacturing team member at our Chandler, AZ facility. The role involves reviewing HS2 documentation, conducting leak tests, and meeting production targets. Candidates should have a High School education in a mechanical/technical field and at least one year of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in manufacturing or similar.
• Some knowledge of English is a considerable advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review HS2 documentation on a daily basis.
• Meet daily production targets with respect to quality and efficiency.
• Conduct leak tests and assist in troubleshooting failures.
• Maintain the working area according to good housekeeping practices.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Review HS2 documentation on daily basis.
• Use the correct PPE and obey required BAM processes and procedures.
• Meet daily production targets with respect to quality, volume and efficiency. Collaborate with other zone members and the Zone Leader to establish priorities and ensure customer due dates are met.
• Inspect parts, assemblies, and systems. Follow inspection criteria defined in Work Instructions, drawings, schematics, or other technical data as required.
• Perform daily checks of calibrated tooling prior to use.
• Conduct leak tests and assist in troubleshooting leak test failures.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures and comply with assigned tasks.
• Promptly report problems to management and seek assistance for resolving more complex issues.
• Maintain the working area in accordance with good housekeeping practices and 6S standards as defined by management.
• Maintain established quality and time standards. Provide input and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and according to work instructions.
• Raise issues and observations at SIM2 meetings.
• Follow the Kanban system.

Qualifications

• High School education, preferably in a mechanical/technical field.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in manufacturing or similar.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Good PC literacy; experience with SAP is an advantage.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, and published specifications.
• Some knowledge of English is a considerable advantage.
• Willingness to work in shifts, time flexibility, detail-oriented and reliable.
