Job summary

Parsons seeks an experienced Works Inspector (Roads) to oversee daily site operations related to road construction and ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

The candidate should hold a Civil Engineering diploma and have 10 years in inspection of large infrastructure projects, with strong knowledge of road standards and regulations, plus proficiency in MS Office and inspection reporting software; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Diploma Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 10 years of experience in an inspection role for large-scale infrastructure projects such as highways, urban roads, and interchanges.
  • Strong understanding of road construction standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and inspection reporting software.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services required for road works.
  • Assist with testing and commissioning, ensuring that road components meet the necessary quality and functionality standards before handover.
