Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced Works Inspector (Utilities) to oversee daily site operations for utility construction in Qatar. You will ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality standards while coordinating with contractors and safety teams.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and at least 10 years in utility inspections, with strong knowledge of applicable codes, and fluent English communication in a demanding field environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in utility construction inspection, with at least 5 years in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of utility construction standards, codes, and regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office and inspection reporting software.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect daily utility construction activities for design/spec/compliance.
• Monitor and report progress, flag delays, and suggest corrective actions.
• Inspect materials/workmanship to ensure quality against specs.
• Document inspections with daily safety and quality reports.
• Coordinate with construction teams for smooth utilities execution (water, sewer, drainage, electrical).
• Manage site safety and enforce safety protocols.
