Job summary

CaroMont Health is seeking a Nutrition Services professional to develop, deliver, and evaluate group and individual nutrition programming for employer populations. You will act as the nutrition expert for the Employer Services team, supporting fitness and lifestyle initiatives and managing data aligned with department standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field (master’s preferred), RD registration and NC licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food & Nutrition, Dietetics or related field from a recognized college or university required; Master’s preferred.
• Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration required and licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in the state of NC.
• Two years of nutrition experience preferred.
• Experience in health coaching and health behavior interventions in workplace settings a plus.
• Strong participant engagement, activation skills and good critical thinking skills that result in positive patient outcomes a must.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent organizational, planning, leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to work flexible hours to include early mornings, evening and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and evaluate group and 1:1 nutrition programming for employer populations.
• Provide general support for fitness and lifestyle choices.
• Serve as nutrition expert and resource to Employer Services team across employer spectrum.
• Manage clinical data, documentation, metric collection and program evaluation per department standards.
• Demonstrate CARES behaviors in all interactions and maintain confidentiality.
