Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian to deliver nutrition education and assessments across patient populations. You will provide one-on-one and group counseling, develop care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize nutrition therapy and outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in dietetics or nutrition, current RD credential, state licensure, and at least one year of experience; graduate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in dietetics or nutrition required.
• Registered Dietitian status by the Commission on Dietetic Registration required.
• Licensed Dietitian in the respective state required.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Registered Clinical Dietitian preferred.
• Ability to complete competency testing and engage diverse patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform nutritional education and nutrition assessments for patients.
• Consult and educate patients in one-on-one and group settings.
• Provide coaching to include behavior changes to improve health and quality of life.
• Optimize nutrition status via medical nutrition therapy and care plans.
• Schedule and follow up with patients with proper documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for health and nutrition management.
