Job summary

SWBC PEO is seeking a dedicated Loss Control Specialist to partner with client companies on safety and risk management. You will conduct onsite and virtual assessments, deliver training, investigate accidents, analyze injury trends, and recommend practical actions to reduce exposures and improve safety performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, OSHA trainer credentials, OSHA 510/511, OSHA 10/30-hour certifications, and strong communication to collaborate with clients and internal teams,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety or a related field required.
• Minimum of five years of safety and accident prevention experience.
• OSHA trainer credentials and OSHA 510/511 trainer courses preferred.
• OSHA 10/30-hour certifications in construction and/or general industry preferred.
• First Aid/CPR/AED trainer certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite and virtual safety assessments to identify hazards and exposures.
• Investigate serious accidents and perform root cause analyses.
• Develop client-specific safety action plans and return-to-work programs.
• Deliver safety training sessions for clients and internally.
• Analyze injury trends and loss data to recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare management and client reports on safety performance and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Claims Management Specialists to address preventable trends.
• Maintain certifications and stay compliant with regulatory requirements.
