Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs, investigations and training across our facilities.

You will drive risk assessments, audits, and continuous improvement while advocating for associate wellbeing and strong leadership partnerships. You will transform safety data into actionable insights, build a culture where safety is a daily habit, and support emergency response at the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field OR a Bachelor's degree in an EHS-related background.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver engaging safety training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing and build partnerships across all levels of the organization.
• Transform safety data into narratives to influence positive change and drive engagement in safety initiatives.
