Job summary

Amazon’s Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) internship program offers hands-on experience designing, building, and improving safety initiatives in order fulfillment. You will work with cross-functional teams, learn OSHA10 and First Aid/CPR/AED, and deliver a final safety project to leadership.

The role is 100% on-site at one of our Network Distribution Centers, with relocation support as needed. Start with a 10-week, full-time summer term (40 hours/week) and explore possible full-time

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree with an expected completion date between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Pursuing a degree in Health Science, Safety Engineering, or related field.
• Experience or interest in safety-related roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with WHS teams on safety-related projects.
• Present data to senior leadership as part of your final project.
• Assist in designing, building, and improving safety programs across three fulfillment lanes.
• Collaborate with Operations, RME, HR, Transportation Ops and others in project planning and execution.
• Expand professional network by participating in WHS intern activities and events.
