Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) to elevate safety standards at our Hamburg site in Pennsylvania. You will lead audits, investigations, and risk assessments while implementing innovative safety solutions to protect associates on a daily basis.

As a safety champion, you will train teams, foster a proactive culture, and turn data into actionable insights that boost both wellbeing and productivity across the operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in an EHS-related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety role or 6 months within Amazon safety
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, especially 29 CFR 1910, required.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs with data-driven strategies, daily safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Advocate for associates and drive a proactive safety culture across levels.
• Translate safety data into narratives to drive engagement and continuous improvement.
