Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Workplace and Operational Excellence Program Leader intern/co-op to join the Waukesha Campus transformation program. You will coordinate cross-functional workstreams, track readiness activities, and support communications and documentation for successful openings and sustainment of the campus evolution.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program and returning to school after the internship.
• Ability to travel to the Waukesha Campus as needed.
• Degree in Business, Operations, Facilities, Real Estate, Project Management, Communications, or related field.
• Strong communication, collaborative approach, and cross-functional working skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and with solid time management.
• Demonstrates initiative and self-starting attitude.
• Developing proficiency in project management, meeting coordination, action tracking, and status reporting.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support readiness planning and program timelines across workstreams.
• Coordinate with campus teams, suppliers, and stakeholders for inputs and dependencies.
• Assist with dashboards, notes, and action logs for tracking progress.
• Manage service options and governance inputs to maintain visibility.
• Draft communications and materials for leadership updates.
• Learn global real estate processes and operating model considerations.
• Support Customer Experience Center readiness and related coordination.
• Help document opening readiness practices and sustainment plans.
