Job summary

SK hynix America is seeking a Workplace Design Specialist to create and maintain an optimal work environment at the Indiana FAB campus. This role focuses on space design, aging facility remodeling, landscaping, and real estate contracting to upgrade work life for employees.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Architecture or Facilities Management, 3+ years of space design experience, and the ability to manage multiple vendors and contracts. U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Facilities Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of space design experience.
• Proven track record in managing multiple vendors and negotiating contracts.

Responsibilities

• Continuously manage office space layouts and develop improvement plans based on space data.
• Plan and execute remodeling projects for aging facilities to maintain value.
• Coordinate management of office spaces and on-site facilities with Business Partners; resolve defects promptly.
• Professionally manage landscaping and seasonal plans to enhance campus aesthetics.
• Manage off-site housing lease contracts and real estate assets, including sales and usage agreements.
• Plan facility maintenance and improvement budgets; analyze execution details for cost efficiency.
• Establish preventive maintenance schedules and ensure safety and hygiene standards.
• Develop operational manuals and Business Continuity Plans for emergencies.

Job Overview:

SK hynix is seeking a Workplace Design Specialist to create and maintain an optimal work environment at the completed Indiana FAB campus. This role is responsible for data-driven office layout management, aging facility remodeling, campus landscaping, and real estate contracting. The primary mission is to continuously upgrade the work environment according to IN FAB's work style and provide a comfortable campus life for employees.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously manage office space layouts and establish and execute office improvement plans based on space utilization data analysis.
• Plan and execute remodeling projects for aging office facilities to maintain facility value.
• Integrate management of office spaces and on-site facilities for Business Partners, promptly resolving facility defects and inconvenience reports.
• Professionally manage indoor and outdoor landscaping (lawns, trees, flower beds) and establish seasonal landscaping plans to enhance campus aesthetics.
• Manage off-site housing lease contracts and efficiently operate real estate assets, including property sales and facility usage agreements.
• Plan facility maintenance and improvement budgets for the team and analyze execution details to enhance cost efficiency.
• Establish preventive maintenance schedules for facilities and monitor compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
• Develop and refine operational manuals and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for emergencies such as equipment failures or natural disasters, facilitating training.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Facilities Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in space design and planning.
• Proven track record in managing multiple vendors (construction, cleaning, landscaping) and negotiating contracts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software (CAFM, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in facility operations for large-scale campuses or business sites.
• Experience in landscaping design or campus environment projects.
• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is highly desirable.
