AEP in Tulsa, OK is looking for a distribution line technician who can plan and assign work tasks, promote safe practices, respond quickly to outages, and support the maintenance, operation, and retirement of the distribution system.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, four years of distribution line experience, journeyman or general servicer certification, a valid CDL-A, and live within 35 miles of the service location; overtime and travel are required.

Direct and assist in the construction, maintenance, operations and retirement of the distribution system. Utilize available personnel and equipment for the safe completion of assigned work tasks.
Compensation Grade: U070-842
Compensation Range: $60.65 - $60.65
The Physical Demand Level for this job is: H – Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
