Job summary

The Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO) seeks a Skill Development Specialist to support JOBS participants with intensive workforce development, training, and counseling. The role emphasizes developing individualized plans and facilitating on-site simulations and workshops to build job-ready skills.

You will oversee career centers and collaborate with partners to place participants, ensuring access to resources and effective program delivery in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong background in workforce development, or related fields.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with computer lab environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes, assessments, and develop individualized plans for JOBS members.
• Provide workforce readiness support and on-site/off-site training.
• Supervise participants during off-site work training at partner businesses.
