Job summary

The State of Missouri's Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development seeks a dedicated professional to promote Job Center services, conduct regional outreach, and coordinate with partners to assist job seekers and employers.

You will support apprenticeship programs, help with RESEA and other re-employment efforts, and work travel up to 10% to service counties. A defined pension plan and generous leave accompany this role.

Responsibilities

• Promote Job Center services and benefits based on customer needs and eligibility.
• Conduct regional outreach to locate job seekers and employers.
• Coordinate with partners to provide comprehensive services to job seekers and employers.
• Assist with re-employment programs like RESEA and Trade Act as needed.
• Record job orders and pre-screen applicants meeting employer specifications.
• Inform employers and organizations of Job Center services; participate in job fairs.
• Develop opportunities with employers for qualified job seekers.
• Provide basic vocational guidance and resume/interview support.
