Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Workforce Management Supervisor to lead scheduling and labor planning across the property, ensuring smooth daily operations and an exceptional guest experience.

You will collaborate with department schedulers, optimize staffing levels, develop new scheduling models, and mentor the Workforce Management team while adhering to labor agreements and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Workforce Management team by ensuring completion of daily scheduling tasks, including securing coverage for leave requests and call outs, balancing workloads, and providing support the growth by providing continuous training and development to enhance scheduling solutions
• Collaborate with department schedulers and department managers to ensure accurate staffing levels and to formulate efficiency strategies
• Devise scheduling enhancements and create new business models
• Partner with department leaders to optimize staffing, drive scheduling improvements, and develop innovative business models
• Discover new best practices to best utilize staffing while following current labor agreements and regulations
• Adhere to all ethical and equity when managing Workforce Management Specialists and various department inquiries

THE JOB:

As a Workforce Management Supervisor, you play a key role in maintaining smooth daily operations and effective labor planning across the property. Through strong collaboration and effective leadership, you’ll help drive operational efficiency and provide the scheduling support needed to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

THE STARTING RATE:

$26

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Lead and support the Workforce Management team by ensuring completion of daily scheduling tasks, including securing coverage for leave requests and call outs, balancing workloads, and providing support the growth by providing continuous training and development to enhance scheduling solutions

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
