Burbank Public Library is seeking a full-time Workforce Librarian to support our Job Connect program. The ideal candidate would have experience helping job seekers and strong customer service skills for one-on-one career counseling sessions.

Responsibilities include reference desk duties, collection development, outreach and partnerships with local businesses, and program creation to assist job seekers. This position requires a Master’s in Library Science and a flexible schedule, 40 hours per

• Master's Degree in Library or Information Science (ALA-accredited).
• Experience with one-on-one career counseling and job seeking assistance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide career counseling sessions and job-seeker support.
• Staff reference desk and participate in collection development.
• Develop partnerships with local businesses and outreach programs.
• Prepare informational programs and presentations; post on social media and city website.
