Community College of Baltimore County is seeking a facilitator for job seekers within Job Network in Continuing Education. Responsibilities include planning and delivering employment and life management workshops, proctoring assessments, and supporting students facing barriers to employment.
The role focuses on job readiness, basic workplace skills, and ongoing student support, with attention to attendance and progress documentation in compliance with relevant guidelines.
The purpose of this class is to perform facilitation and instruction for job seekers within Job Network, functional program-serving students with life and employment challenges within Continuing Education at the college.
Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of full time experience working in career development, teaching workshops, or facilitating courses Or Associate’s degree and four (4) years of full time experience working in career development, teaching workshops, or facilitating courses. Experience working with individuals who have barriers to employment (for example, childcare challenges, transportation limitations, and/or recipient of benefits through the Department of Social Services). Preferred experience facilitating virtual classes and/or workshops.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
