Job summary

The American Bankers Association is seeking a motivated undergraduate student for the Workforce Excellence Internship in Washington, DC. This paid internship runs from June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027, full-time (37.5 hours/week) and onsite at least two days per week.

The internship provides hands-on experience across ABA divisions, interaction with leadership, and meaningful project work. Open to rising juniors and seniors with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029,

Qualifications

• Must be an undergraduate student entering junior or senior year with anticipated graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2029.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Zoom or other video meeting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative/program support for industry-wide Banker Open Committees (BOCs) and meetings, taking notes and developing surveys.
• Develop content and postings for Workforce Excellence Exchanges to drive member engagement.
• Create presentations, materials, and workshops for Women Lead Workshops and Workforce Excellence programs.
• Identify and research speakers for ABA conferences and Workforce Excellence events.
• Gather resources on workforce development and industry topics to support ABA programs.
