Job summary

The American Bankers Association in Washington, DC is offering a paid Workforce Excellence internship for the summer. You will support committees, help create surveys, and develop content for Workforce Excellence programs while collaborating with bankers and ABA leaders.

The role is full-time in DC, 37.5 hours weekly, with onsite work at least two days per week. Pay is $25/hour for rising juniors or seniors, with networking, leadership exposure, and a chance to contribute to national workforce

Qualifications

• Must be a rising junior or senior undergraduate student with anticipated graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2029.
• Strong research, writing, communication and organizational abilities required.
• Experience with virtual meetings and surveys is preferred.
• Interest in workforce development and inclusive leadership encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative/program support for Banker Open Committees (BOCs) and meetings.
• Develop content and postings for the Workforce Excellence Exchanges to drive member engagement.
• Research and assist with presentations, materials, and workshops for Women Lead Workshops.
• Research and identify speakers for ABA conferences and Workforce Excellence events.
• Compile resources on workforce development to support ABA initiatives.
