Join one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic medical centers, The UChicago Medicine Health System, as a Workforce Development Trainer in our Talent Strategy & Experience department. This position will be onsite at our Hyde Park campus and off‑site locations around Chicagoland at least three days per week. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.
The Workforce Development Trainer is responsible for delivering high‑quality virtual and in‑person training programs for professional development and leadership development offerings across the health system, improving the skills and knowledge of employees, and resulting in increased productivity and improved performance for the organization. The Workforce Development Trainer plays a critical role in advancing UChicago Medicine’s culture transformation efforts by designing, facilitating, and implementing learning experiences that reinforce organizational values, leadership expectations, service excellence standards, and patient‑centered behaviors. The Workforce Development Trainer partners with subject matter experts, leaders, and employees across the health system to assess learning needs and develop engaging, effective learning solutions that support organisational priorities. The trainer maintains training materials, job aids, and communications; supports program launches; and coordinates the logistics and administration of learning programmes, workshops, webinars, and events, including registration, participant communications, and facilitator support. Working collaboratively with HR, Consumer Experience, and business partners, the Trainer supports all phases of program delivery and evaluation. They establish and monitor measures of learning effectiveness, using participant feedback and performance data to continuously improve existing programmes and identify new development opportunities.
