Job summary

CareerSource Tampa Bay seeks a Program Supervisor to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate workforce development programs. This role guides a team that includes Career Coaches, Program Specialists, and other staff to ensure quality outcomes and effective service delivery.

The position emphasizes outreach, work-based learning initiatives, and managing program budgets. You will build strong relationships with employers, partners, and internal teams while driving continuous program improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, social science, or related field.
• Minimum of three years' experience in workforce development, employment, and training services with management experience.
• Experience prioritizing projects, meeting deadlines, and ensuring high accuracy; Welfare Transition/SNAP E&T/WIOA experience preferred.
• Florida Driver’s License and ability to travel between offices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead outreach events to promote workforce programs to the public, communities, and employers.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage operation of programs, ensuring goals and compliance with guidelines.
• Lead One-Stop service delivery activities including work-based learning and OJT programs.
• Maintain relationships with employers and partners; manage business contract databases.
• Supervise Career Coaches, Program Specialists, and other staff; monitor performance and provide growth opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to goals, budget, performance standards, policies and procedures.
• Support onboarding, training and professional development of staff.
• Monitor budgets and resources; collect and report program data to drive improvements.
• Evaluate program effectiveness, adjust strategies, and ensure continuous improvement.
• Travel between offices and to local businesses as needed.
