Job summary

Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking an Associate Dean of Workforce Development to provide leadership and strategic direction for career education, workforce partnerships, and job placement services. This role focuses on equity, industry engagement, internships, apprenticeships, and regional workforce initiatives.

Qualifications

Master's degree in a relevant field with 1+ year of leadership experience or equivalent administrative leadership exposure.
Experience with workforce development programs, SWP, Perkins, regional collaborations, and grants preferred.
Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with industry, employers and community partners.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for workforce development initiatives and employer partnerships.
Oversee program budgets, reporting, and compliance with funding requirements.
Coordinate with academic deans, faculty, and staff to expand work-based learning opportunities.
Develop and monitor work plans, timelines, and deliverables for SWP investments.
Represent the College in workforce development partnerships and regional initiatives.
