Job summary

Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District seeks an Associate Dean of Workforce Development to lead workforce initiatives, strengthen employer partnerships, and expand career and job placement services, advancing equity and student success across Career Education.

Under the Dean’s direction, the role oversees SWP, Perkins, regional grants, and work-based learning efforts; coordinates planning, budgets and reporting; and collaborates with faculty, staff, employers, and community partners to

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited institution plus one year of formal training, internship, or leadership experience.
• Experience with budgets and budget development.
• Experience managing change to promote equity, inclusion, access and student success.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise program administration and accreditation of identified areas of assignment.
• Develop and implement programs and services to meet student needs and promote success.
• Prepare and monitor program budgets and expenditures.
• Direct development of program goals and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Establish relationships with colleges, organizations, and community partners.
• Coordinate recruitment, enrollment, retention, evaluations, and staff development.
