Job summary

The Detroit Health Department seeks a strategic Project Manager & Analytics Specialist IV (Workforce Development Director) to lead workforce development, organizational culture, and professional growth across the department. You will partner with HR and program leads to identify needs, design learning paths, and coordinate partnerships with universities and employers.

The role analyzes data from diverse sources for research, reporting, and decision support; presents findings to stakeholders; and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, project management, business, management, organizational development, or a related field.
4–5 years of project management or data analytics experience.
Experience analyzing data from diverse sources and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Analyzes data from a variety of database sources and formats for research, systems, and report design.
Presents results of analyses concisely to ensure adoption by stakeholders.
Drives fact-based decision making at all levels within the organization.
Drives process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency of reporting.
Manages project development from inception to closure and coordinates cross‑department collaboration.
