Job summary

Talentify in Detroit is seeking a Lead Data Scientist, Healthcare Analytics to partner with system leaders and analysts to define data science solutions and architectures. You will lead a team of data scientists and collaborate across operations to deploy insights.

You'll apply advanced modeling, visualization, and storytelling to present findings to executives and non-technical audiences, using Agile methodologies to drive delivery and adoption.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Econometrics/Public Health/Epidemiology or related field.
• Master's degree or PhD preferred.
• 5+ years of professional work experience.
• 3+ years of predictive analytics, forecasting, and optimization using Python/R/SAS; 2+ years in US Healthcare.
• 1+ year experience with cloud Big Data Stack; strong SQL with RDBMSs.
• Exceptionally skilled in machine learning, data analytics, pattern recognition and predictive modelling.
• Experience with Power BI visualization; data storytelling for business users.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills; collaborative across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead data science projects for healthcare analytics and partner with stakeholders.
• Define, architect, and design data science solutions and architectures.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to implement solutions.
• Present findings clearly to system leaders and non-technical audiences.
