Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and delivering vocational training opportunities under this grant.
• Assist in developing and implementing recruitment of eligible students for this grant.
• Coordinate the registration of students to determine eligibility and fitness for the program.
• Identify and work with employers to develop, schedule and coordinate workplace educational classes at multiple sites.
• Work to ensure quality of educational services and overall performance of the vocational program.
• Assist in identifying, adapting and customizing adult educational curricula for workforce programs.
• Monitor progress toward workforce outcomes including employment, retention, and transitions to post-secondary education.
• Develop activities to help former and current students find jobs, e.g., job fairs and internship opportunities.
• Identify and implement workforce development strategies for program improvement.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director, Career Pathways.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• 1. Assists in planning, scheduling, delivering vocational training opportunities under this grant.
• 2. Assists in developing and implementing effective recruitment of eligible students for this grant.
• 3. Is responsible for coordinating the registration of students to determine eligibility and fitness for program.
• 4. Identifies and works with employers to develop, schedule and coordinate appropriate workplace educational classes at multiple sites as needed.
• 5. Works to ensure quality of educational services and overall performance of vocational educational program.
• 6. Assists in identifying, adapting and customizing adult educational curricula for all workforceoriented programs.
• 7. Monitoring progress toward the attainment of workforce related outcomes including but not limited to obtaining employment, retaining employment, and making transition to post-secondary education for students who have exited program.
• 8. Develops activities that enhance the ability of former and current students to find jobs, such as campus-based job fairs, promoting third party job fairs or other employment opportunities and internships.
• 9. Assists in identifying and implementing effective workforce development strategies leading to improvement in workforce outcomes for students.
• 10. Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the Director, Career Pathways may from time to time assign or delegate.
