Primary Purpose:
The Career Navigator is responsible for assisting adult education students in TWC Foundations Skills for Construction Grant funded programs to transition to careers in the construction field. This position is responsible for coaching students in every facet of their career search including resume writing, cover letter preparation, practice interviews, networking, job search assistance, thank you letters, as well as all other related career planning needs. The Career Navigator will conduct outreach activities to secure employer partnerships and wrap around services for student career placement and success. The Career Navigator is also responsible for following up and tracking the employment and post‑secondary enrollments of exited for up to a year after their last date of enrollment.
