NOVA is seeking a Workforce Advantage Success Coach to provide direct student support, develop personalized success plans, and manage program data and collaboration with partners. The role supports ongoing program activities, records, and progress tracking across campuses in Northern Virginia.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, with experience in human services or education, and familiarity with case-management platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

Duties And Tasks
  • Direct student support to program participants
  • Develop individualized success plans with students and help them establish realistic academic, career, and personal goals.
  • Program administration, data management, partner collaboration, and continuous program improvement.
  • Support student coaching, events, orientations, workshops, and other program activities.
  • Maintains accurate, timely, and complete program records and case documentation
  • Tracks participant progress and program outcomes
  • Meets grant reporting deadlines; ensures compliance with grant requirements, FERPA, and institutional policies; and effectively coordinates with program, financial, and administrative staff to support efficient program operations.
  • This position is restricted and is funded with non-continuous or non-recurring funding and is subject to continuation based on fiscal year funds and the needs of the College. Special Assignments May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

Minimum Work Experience
  • Experience working with adult learners and/or first-generation students.
  • Experience in human services, education, social work, counseling, workforce development, or a related field.
  • Experience providing coaching, advising, case management, or student success support.
  • Experience maintaining accurate documentation and managing multiple priorities.
Additional Considerations
  • Experience with TANF, SNAP Employment & Training, WIOA, or other grant-funded workforce programs.

Operation of a State Vehicle No Supervises Employees No Required Travel

May be required to travel between NOVA Campuses.
