Job summary

Truist is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build and operate governed low-code applications for Wealth Brokerage and Trust. You will translate business concepts into governed data objects, workflows and ontology models, with a strong emphasis on auditable processing and controlled human intervention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training.
• In-depth knowledge of information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate governed low-code applications, workflow components, forms and rules.
• Model end-to-end workflows covering intake, validation, routing, approvals and exception handling.
• Create ontology objects, properties, relationships, actions and lifecycle states for reusable governance.
• Use Python to implement data transformation, validation, and automation with secure coding practices.
• Integrate workflow and ontology solutions with .NET/C#, SQL Server, Azure PaaS and APIs.
• Implement access controls, data masking, and audit history for sensitive wealth data.
• Develop automated tests and support deployment, monitoring and runbooks.
• Lead design reviews, mentor engineers and contribute to governance for low-code and ontology delivery.
