Job summary

Parts Town is seeking a Workflow Coordinator (Internally Production Planner) to join the Continuous Improvement team. You’ll forecast daily dispatches, create execution plans, and ensure correct staffing across the operation, monitoring conveyors and picking systems to prevent jams and maintain a same-day shipping promise.

You will work with DC leaders, provide status updates, and help optimize daily performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, forecasting or production planning.
• Solid understanding of distribution operations.
• Excellent communication skills, especially over phone/radio.
• Proficiency with Excel and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Forecast daily production rates.
• Plan daily labor to meet forecast.
• Monitor and evaluate actual vs plan rates.
• Coordinate with DC leadership on work changes.
• Release outbound work to ensure SLAs.
• Monitor DC automation and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide feedback to leadership and highlight opportunities.
