Qualifications

• Knowledge of material requirements planning, capacity planning and shop floor control.
• Knowledge of AMAPS preferred.
• Knowledge of APICS concepts/principles preferred.
• General understanding of manufacturing routings, travellers, & blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement and processing of parts to meet customer delivery schedules.
• Update production and inventory control system with timely, accurate information.
• Stage and coordinate work to meet schedules and optimize resources.
• Communicate and coordinate with support groups to initiate corrective action for work orders on hold.
• Split work orders by generating a new traveler and coordinating with inspection and other groups.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts between shop and business teams.
• Maintain WIP data accuracy by addressing discrepancies in paperwork or system information.
• Develop and maintain daily/short-range and capacity plans with other functional groups.
