Job summary

CACI seeks a Solution Business Manager (SBM) Software Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain SBM-based workflow automation solutions for enterprise operations. You will apply SBM Composer and SBM Application Administrator to build and optimize automated processes and portals.

The role requires strong SQL skills, experience with SBM scripting, and integration of REST/SOAP services. You will work across Dev, Test, and Production environments, ensuring security and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• DOD 8140 (8570) IAT Level II (Security+ or equivalent).
• Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise workflow applications and process orchestrations using SBM Composer and SBM Application Administrator.
• Monitor SBM server infrastructure (IIS Web Servers, SBM Services, and Database servers) for high availability and performance.
• Write and optimize database queries to support SBM applications (SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).
• Develop, test, and implement custom scripting using SBM AppScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Python to extend SBM capabilities.
• Design, consume, and troubleshoot RESTful and SOAP web services to integrate SBM with third-party systems.
• Plan environment promotions, migrations, and upgrades across Dev, Test, and Production environments using SBM Repository.
• Integrate Active Directory/SSO and security controls within SBM apps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into workflows.
• Provide technical support ensuring security/compliance throughout the SBM lifecycle.
• Document architecture, runbooks, and API guides.
• Troubleshoot bugs and bottlenecks using a ticketing system.
• Stay current with ITIL/ITSM/DevOps best practices.
