CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a Worker’s Compensation Specialty Evaluator (Licensed role - OT, PTA or ATC) in Georgia. The role involves performing Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and Work Conditioning Evaluations, with regional travel to CORA clinics as needed, plus peer reviews and audits for specialty program clients.

Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapist or Athletic trainer Florida state license.
  • Previous experience with Worker’s Compensation recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform worker’s compensation active peer review to monitor progression, ensure documentation accuracy, monitor weekly status reports and charges.
  • Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and Work Conditioning Evaluations as needed.
  • Perform onsite services within the scope of each individual’s state licensure.
  • Verbally report significant information or changes in a patient’s condition to the appropriate therapist immediately.
  • Assist with maintenance of patient medical records and confidentiality.
  • Travel as required.

As a Worker's Compensation Specialty Evaluator, you will be responsible for performing Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and Work Conditioning Evaluations, as needed. You will travel within the region to the clinics when needed. You will also be responsible for performing peer reviews and active audits for prospective specialty program clients.
