Job summary

CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a Worker’s Compensation Specialty Evaluator (Licensed role- OT, PTA or an ATC-Georgia). You will perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and Work Conditioning Evaluations, travel to clinics as needed, and contribute to peer reviews and audits for specialty program clients.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapist or Athletic trainer Florida state license
• Previous experience with Worker's Compensation recommended but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform worker’s compensation active peer review to monitor worker’s compensation progression, monitor documentation and assure all scripts are correct, monitor completion and delivery of weekly status report and monitor charges
• Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and Work Conditioning Evaluations as needed
• Perform onsite services within the scope of each individual’s state licensure
• Verbally report significant information or changes in a patient’s condition to the appropriate therapist immediately
• Assist with the maintenance of patient medical records and maintain patient confidentiality
• Travel as required
