Job summary

Insight Global is hiring a Workers’ Compensation Claims Specialist in Columbus, OH. The role coordinates with insurance carriers, injured employees, medical providers, and branch locations to manage claims from start to finish.

You will maintain accurate claim records, support OSHA reporting, and assist with investigations while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to improve outcomes and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on workers’ compensation experience.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Job Description:The Workers’ Compensation Claims Specialist manages workers’ compensation claims from start to finish, serving as the primary point of contact between injured employees, branch locations, insurance carriers, and medical providers. They maintain accurate claim records, monitor claim progress, and ensure compliance with workers’ compensation regulations across multiple states. On a daily basis, this individual coordinates with internal teams and external partners to facilitate timely claim resolutions, assists with OSHA recordkeeping, and supports accident investigations when workplace incidents occur. They also participate in claim review meetings with insurance brokers and carriers, helping identify trends and opportunities to improve claim outcomes and reduce risk.

Skills and Requirements
