Job summary

Zen Educate is seeking a remote Workers’ Compensation Coordinator to own the full lifecycle of the program for our US operations. You will manage incident intake, claims coordination, return-to-work, compliance, and reporting, ensuring timely communication with educators, schools, and carriers.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of workers’ compensation experience, solid knowledge of US laws, strong organization, and empathetic communication.

Zen Educate is an education staffing platform, Series B, UK-founded, now expanding in the US. What you will be doing • Incident intake and claims coordination: Serve as the first point of contact for US injury reports; collect reports, notify carriers, coordinate medical care, manage claims through resolution, track deadlines and communications • Return-to-work program development and educator support: Develop and manage US return-to-work program; partner with schools, staff, and leadership to coordinate light-duty assignments; communicate with injured educators, support them through recovery, and support a culture of safety • Data, reporting and administrative support: Maintain US workers’ compensation records and dashboards; provide compliance reporting; support HR and Payroll on incident-related matters; identify trends and recommend process improvements What we are looking for • 1 to 3 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation administration, claims, or HR risk support • Working knowledge of US workers’ compensation laws and claims processes • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and empathy • Comfortable with HRIS and reporting tools Benefits • $60,000 USD salary • Equity • Medical, dental, vision • 401(k) (no match) • 18 paid vacation days • 10 company holidays • Fully remote
