Job summary

TransPak in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Specialist to administer and coordinate all aspects of the company’s workers’ compensation program. The role ensures timely reporting, manages workplace injuries, and supports return-to-work initiatives in collaboration with employees, medical providers, insurers, and management.

The ideal candidate will have 0–3 years of experience in claims, leave administration, or risk management, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience managing workers’ compensation claims, leave administration, or risk programs.
• Experience working with insurance carriers, TPAs, and return-to-work programs.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local workers’ compensation laws.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of workers’ compensation claims from injury reporting to closure.
• Coordinate reporting to carriers, TPAs, and regulators with accuracy and timeliness.
• Serve as primary contact for injured employees and educate on processes and responsibilities.
• Administer leave, return-to-work, and modified-duty programs with management.
• Prepare reports, trends, and audits; support risk management and safety initiatives.
• Review invoices and manage claim-related expenses with carriers and legal counsel.
